Big Brother Naija ‘All Stars’ housemate, Angel Smith, has revealed how she contemplated suicide in March, which was triggered by keeping up with celebrity status.
CityNews reports that the reality TV star made the revelation during a conversation with Soma on Tuesday.
According to Angel, surviving the thought of committing suicide was a chaotic experience as fame divided her life into pieces.
She noted that the experience of the incident is one of the reasons she can easily cope in the current ‘All-Stars’ edition.
She said: “I numbed myself out after my suicide attempt in March because it got so chaotic. Fame divided me into pieces and left those pieces on the floor for me to pick up. It broke me.
“Every time I get into an argument in this house, I say to myself, do I even want to be here? I remember how I got here. No one in this house knows this. I have suffered.”
While consoling Soma, who was shedding tears due to fear of eviction, the 23-year-old said she will not win the N120 million grand prize.
However, she is aware that God brought her back to the reality show for a reason, adding she had gone through the same experience as Soma.
She said: “If I am being realistic, I will not win the N120 million. I just know God brought me back for a reason, and that reason might be you because you are going through what I went through two years ago. I care about you. I can only be there if you let me help you.”
