President Bola Tinubu has approved significant changes to the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Board and Management nomination list.
The President has approved the immediate replacement of Mr. Victor Akinjo, who was initially nominated as the NDDC’s Ondo State Representative, with a new nominee, Hon. Otito Atikase.
Additionally, President Tinubu has approved the replacement of Mr. Asi Oku Okang, who was previously nominated as the NDDC’s Cross River State Representative, with a new Cross River State Representative, Rt. Hon. Orok Otuk Duke.
Furthermore, in a move aimed at providing continuity and stability, President Tinubu has reappointed Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, the immediate past Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the NDDC, to a second term. Dr. Ogbuku will continue to serve in an acting capacity until the Senate confirms his reappointment.
These changes and reappointments signify President Tinubu’s dedication to ensuring that the NDDC functions efficiently and effectively in its mission to promote the development of the Niger Delta region.
