Davido, Rema Win Big At 2023 Trace Awards (Full List)

Nigerian singers, Davido and Rema, scooped several awards at the maiden edition of the Trace Awards, which was held in Kigali, Rwanda, on Saturday, October 21, 2023.

CityNews understands the award seeks to celebrate the creativity, talent, and influence of African and Afro-inspired music and artistes.

During the ceremony yesterday, Rema won the ‘Song of the Year’ category for the hit song ‘Calm Down’ while the ‘Best Global African Artiste’ was a tie between the Nigerian and Nomcebo.

Davido on his part, emerged as the winner of the ‘Best Male’ and ‘Best Collaboration’ categories while Burna Boy won ‘Album of the Year’.

The awards ceremony was hosted by Nigerian singer, D’Banj, and Angolan global supermodel, Maria Borges.
