CityNews reports that the spokesman of WWAWAN, Okhue Iboi, in an interview with journalists in Lagos, said Atiku is only wasting his time and resources on the United States ”fishing expedition” issue.
He enjoined Atiku and the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, to team up with President Tinubu to rebuild the country.
Iboi added that there are uncertainties about Tinubu’s second-term bid because of many challenges in Aso Rock.
He said, “We had warned Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the PDP against his empty aristocratic pomposity and that former Rivers State governor, Nyeson Wike, will laugh last. Between Atiku and Wike, who is nursing the brutal heartbreak of a crushing defeat? Who is smiling, and who is gnashing teeth?
“While Wike is the Minister of the FCT, Abuja, which is akin to his continuing to hold the position of a state governor, Atiku is busy chasing shadows, looking for one useless needle in a haystack, unnecessarily heating up the polity and distracting President Bola Tinubu’s attention to address major socio-economic problems he (Atiku) partly created during his eight years of acrimonious vice presidency with General Olusegun Obasanjo.
“On his US fishing expedition, we have also started reviewing the case. Like terrestrial law courts, we also sit and weigh matters on the strength of evidence adduced. So, we are sitting on it in the coven, but from our preliminary findings, Atiku has succeeded in wasting his time and his enormous resources.
“Once again, I enjoin Peter Obi and Atiku to team up with Tinubu to rebuild Nigeria because the president will finish fine. We cannot speak about the second term because of the many challenges in Aso Rock. There will be a problem that will shock everyone”
