EPL: Fans react as Ndidi, Iheanacho lead Leicester City’s quick Premier League return
Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho and his international teammate, Wilfred Ndidi, have been in good forms this season.
Their forms have helped Leicester City blossom as they take the English Championship by storm.
The Foxes were relegated to the Championship last season but it is all looking like they do not belong there, going eight points clear in the league.
They recorded another victory last night, beating Sunderland 1-0 in a Championship clash and fans are now wondering if the Foxes deserved to be relegated at all.
“What on earth are Leicester doing in the Championship,” a wowed fan exclaimed after another three points and a clean sheet for the Foxes.
“What did you expect them to do, they barely lost any players and have an upper-mid table prem squad. They’ll smash the points record,” another wrote on X.
“They kept the core of the team. They added quality players . They’re levels above any team there . They will qualify with games to spare.”
“They went back to re-strategize. They’ll come back and might win the league.”
“They’re too good for the championship!”
