EPL: Ex-Chelsea striker, Timo Werner in shock move to Man Utd
Manchester United are keen on signing Timo Werner from RB Leipzig, according to Sky Germany.
It is believed the former Chelsea striker is not happy at the Bundesliga club.
But Werner would prefer to stay at least until next summer.
However, United will continue to monitor the situation ahead of the January transfer window.
Werner joined Chelsea from Leipzig in July 2020 for £45m and scored only 10 times in the Premier League in 56 appearances before returning to his former club.
Since returning to the Bundesliga for £25.3m in August 2022, the 27-year-old has scored 16 goals in his first season but has only managed to score twice in 13 games this term.
