Mark Angel Responds To Outrage Over Emmanuella’s Controversial Viral Video
Nigerian skitmaker, Mark Angel, has apologised over a viral video of child comedienne, Emanuella, dancing while rocking a spaghetti black dress with a high slit.
CityNews reported that the video sparked outrage online. While some social media users expressed surprise over how much Emmanuella has grown, others claimed she needs to be cautioned and showed their displeasure with her dance moves.
In a post via Instagram, Mark Angel said the video was shared on Emmanuella’s WhatsApp status, where a family friend downloaded it and shared it on TikTok.
The skitmaker apologised to the public, saying it was a mistake and the issue is being addressed with Emmanuella to ensure she understands the importance of making responsible choices.
He wrote: “Dear friends and family, I want to address a situation involving my child, Emmanuella’s recent video that has been circulating on social media. Unfortunately, she innocently wore inappropriate clothing belonging to one of her elder sisters without our knowledge and posted it on her WhatsApp stat,us but unfortunately, a view-hungry adult (Who I believe should have done the right thing by calling to report the child’s behaviour considering that we consider her a family friend) she downloaded the video and posted it on her own tiktok account without considering the child may have posted the video without fully understanding the consequences.
“The video was shared without my consent or the consent of her handler. I take full responsibility as a parent and i sincerely apologise for any discomfort or concern this may have caused. I’m addressing the situation with my child, emphasizing the importance of making responsible choices. Please understand that this was a mistake and I am taking steps to ensure it doesn’t happen again. Thank you for your understanding and support during this challenging time.”
