Zack Orji’s speaks on seeking financial assistance for husband

Ngozi Orji, the wife of ailing Nollywood actor, Zack Orji, has denied soliciting financial assistance from the public for her husband.

It was reported that Ngozi sought financial support from the public when the Minister of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musawa, visited her husband at the hospital.

Reacting to the report in a chat with TheCable, Ngozi denied begging for money to care for the ailing actor.

She said, “Really? For where na? Who did I tell that one? I don’t remember granting such an interview to anybody. It is well. Please, I never said anything.”

CityNews Nigeria reports that Orji was rushed to the national hospital on December 29 2023, after he reportedly slumped in his toilet.

Speaking on Wednesday after her visit, the minister of art, culture, and creative economy, Hannatu Musawa, revealed that the actor underwent brain surgery.
