It’s embarrassing to the Christian faith” Solomon Buchi speaks on Yul Edochie’s ministerial calling
Twitter influencer, Solomon Buchi has weighed into Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie’s ministerial calling.
In a lengthy post on his Twitter page, he questioned who Yul Edochie’s spiritual father is, the church he attends, and who discipled him. He noted how the actor had been embroiled in adultery and polygamy for the past months, which had made him unfit to preach the gospel until he sought repentance and healing.
Solomon admitted that though the actor has been through a lot in the past months, he needs intensive mental care as the charade of ministry isn’t helping him.
Buchi added that Yul Edochie is making a caricature of the Christian faith and embarrassing Christians.
“Yul Edochie is making a caricature of the Christian faith. From cheating on his wife, getting another woman pregnant and being caught, to claiming polygamy is normal and okay, and now to open a ‘ministry’ claiming God called him. No doubt, God can call anyone, but there’s a whole structure to the logistics of starting a ministry.
Who is Yul Edochie’s spiritual father? What church does he even currently attend? Who discipled him? In the past months, he’s been involved in adultery and polygamy, which the Lord can forgive, but why is his ministry launch so close to a vulnerable season, for which he needs repentance and healing?
Yul has been through quite a lot in the past months, and he might need intensive mental care. This charade isn’t helping and all he needs is Jesus and reflective time to morph into a better man. It’s hard to tell if his ‘ministry’ is sarcastic or real, but whatever it is, it is still embarrassing to the Christian faith. Get your life and family together first, Yul”.
Solomon Buchi isn’t the only one who has addressed Yul’s ministerial calling.
Noble Igwe, who was left baffled, noted how Yul Edochie started from doing Real Estate business to answering the call of God and starting his own ministry. He wondered how Yul just woke up one day and thought of preaching the gospel. The media personality stated that something was off about him.
Former reality TV star Nina Ivy had stated that the actor had called himself and not God.
A week back, Yul revealed that he was finally ready to accept the call of God by doing God’s work and spreading the true message of God.
The actor announced the launch of his online Ministry, The Salvation Ministry, where he will be preaching the gospel.
Many thought he was just chasing clout until he held his first online service on Sunday, January 28th, where he recounted how God called him.
The movie star, however, assured his fans and his followers, that he isn’t ditching acting for ministry.
Yul Edochie further disclosed to his followers that he was just trying to fulfill his destiny and that God’s work was his destiny.
