Nigerians are losing it over the final results of the AFCON 2023, and celebrities are not exempt. Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo took to Instagram to express her feelings over Nigeria’s loss. However, she made sure to Nwabili, calling him her hero, before she went on a full rant, asking that no one should make her angry for the next three days, or else she would wear her black hair bonnet. In her caption, she wrote, “ My hero tonight. @nwabali32 But i still dey sad make nobody vex me for the next 3 days.unless i go wear my black bonnet”

The irony of it is that a lot of Nigerians are shaken due to the fact that they won’t be able to drag other countries online, especially Ghana. Nigeria and Ghana have maintained a friendly and hilarious banter exchange online that has been heightened by the AFCON 2023. Losing at this football tournament means that Ghana has the upper hand in the never ending dragging race.

There was a lot of high hope for the Super Eagles who came in second at the AFCON games, but regardless, Nigerians are dealing with the loss better than expected, and in their usual fashion, the games will be forgotten in the next couple of days as they move on to the next exciting thing.
