FIFA rankings: Peseiro sets new target for Super Eagles

The head coach of the Super Eagles, Jose Peseiro, has hinted that he wants to continue with the team.

He spoke in while reacting to the latest FIFA rankings.

On Thursday, Nigeria rose 14 places in the rankings and are now 28th in the world.

Following an impressive outing at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, the Eagles are now rated the third best team on the continent.

Nigeria are now only behind Morocco and Senegal.

But Peseiro has now posted an image on his Twitter page, in which he said he wants the team to be number one in Africa.

Peseiro is currently out of contract following the conclusion of the AFCON tournament.
