A man on Facebook, identified as Okoronkwo Ejike, apologizes for posting an harmful comment against gospel singers, Mercy Chinwo and Nathaniel Bassey.
The controversy occured after Mercy Chinwo and her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa unveiled their son’s face for the first time, igniting reactions from netizens.
Amidst the reactions, Okoronkwo Ejike took to his Facebook page, claiming that the baby resembled Nathaniel Bassey.
He included that the child belongs to Nathaniel Bassey and no one should dispute it with him.
Ejike further teased the possibility of a romantic affair between the gospel singers which eventually brought the baby.
He wrote:
“This is the true face of Mercy Chinwo’s child she was hiding after giving birth But the truth is that this little baby looks exactly like Singer Nathaniel Bassey.
Nothing anybody wan reason me oh, this child is Nathaniel Bassey’s baby, just maybe there was a secret away match that occured otherwise how can we make emperical sense of this.”

In the face of the intense criticism, the user subsequently offered an apology.
