Cubana chiefpriest breaks silence following EFCC impending arrest
In the recent development following the EFCC releasing a statement on Cubana Chief Priest, the popular media personality has broken his silence.
Recall that earlier yesterday, CN reported that the EFCC had released a statement which detailed the fact that Cubana Chief Priest will be charged to court on Wednesday for alleged money laundering and misuse of funds.
They further shared the specific video which caught their attention. In this video which has since gone viral on social media, he is seen throwing heavy words of naira notes at a celebrant. This particular disregard for the naira was what piqued the curiosity of the EFCC and got them to submit a case against him.
Now following all of these charges leveled against him, Cubana Chief Priest took to his Instagram story to break the silence.
He shared a casual laid back picture of himself with a thank you sign which netizens hinted at the fact that he is doing okay.
Also recall that a few weeks back, popular cross-dresser Bob Risky had been arrested by the police and by the EFCC for money laundering and also misuse of funds.
In subsequent weeks since his arrest, he has been sentenced to 6 months of imprisonment without bail. Netizens continue to be hopeful that he will be released before the 6 month period.
