Members of the Iyalode Line in the Ibadan Traditional Council Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan designate HRM Oba Owolabi Olakulehin at his Alalubosa residence, following his nomination last Friday by Ibadan Kingmakers.
The visit according to the delegation led by Chief (Mrs) Amudalat Adekunle – Otun Iyalode, was to pay their respects and congratulate the Olubadan designate on his nomination. According to her, “……members of the Iyalode line are here to pay our respects and congratulate Kaabiyesi on his nomination. We also offer our thanksgiving to God and express our best wishes for his good health and long life as he prepares to ascend the throne of his forefathers”

Responding on behalf of the Olubadan designate and the Olakulehin family, Prince Olasunmbo Owolabi appreciated the leader and members of the Iyalode line for the thoughtfulness of their visit noting that they are the first set of organised visitors to the Olubadan designate post nomination.
Meanwhile, the Oyo State Government has confirmed receipt of the nomination of HRM Oba Owolabi Olakulehin as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadan as presented by Ibadan Kingmakers.
