The minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has urged the Church to pray for Nigeria and President Ahmed Tinubu to strengthen the President in fulfilling his promises to the nation.
Wike, the immediate past Rivers State Governor, made the comment yesterday at thanksgiving church service in honour of the acting state chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Tony Okocha, at St. Thomas Anglican Church at Rumuigbo in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area.
Okocha, who is also representing the state on the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) board, was celebrating his double appointments and his wife’s birthday.
Wike asked the Bishop and the Church to pray for President Tinubu and the nation.
His words: “My Lord Bishop, let me thank you for taking your time to preside over this thanksgiving service in honouring our brother who God has blessed in various ways, and to his wife who God has added another one year to her life today.
“I want also to ask you to pray for Nigeria and Mr President so that all the promises he made will be kept.”
