The Hungarian FA has confirmed that Barnabas Varga is “stable”.
The striker had to be stretched off the pitch during their 1-0 win over Scotland.
Varga remained on the pitch after a collision with Angus Gunn.
He was shielded by sheets as medics treated him, before being driven to the hospital.
The statement from the Hungarian FA on Sunday read: “Barnabas Varga’s condition is stable. The Ferencvaros player is currently in one of the hospitals in Stuttgart.
“We will inform you immediately if there is any news about his status.”
