Governor Seyi Makinde has appointed seasoned media guru and perception management expert Mr.Toye Arulogun as one of the members of the Committee that will help him oversee the coronation of the new Olubadan Of Ibadanland,His Imperial Majesty,Oba Owolabi Olakuleyin.
Ahead of the July 12 coronation of Oba Owolabi Olakuleyin as the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oyo State governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, has set up a committee for the event.
CityNews Nigeria learnt that the committee which has the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Mr Ademola Ojo as head also has the state’s Commissioner for Information, Prince Dotun Oyelade as a member.
According to the Leadership Newspaper,other cabinet members in the committee include the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr. Wasiu Olatunbosun; as well as Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion, Mrs Toyin Balogun.
Also on committee are the son of the incoming Olubadan, Prince Folaseke Owolabi Olakulehin, Chief Dr. Onikepo Akande, Oba Abiodun Kola-Daisi, Oba Lateef Gbadamosi Adebimpe, Chief Hazeem Gbolarumi, Bishop Ademola Moradeyo, CP Sunday Odukoya (Rtd.), Mogaji Abduljeleel Adanla and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Ramota Agberemi-Dabo.
CityNews Nigeria recalls that Governor Makinde earlier approved the nomination by the Olubadan-In-Council of Oba Olakulehin as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland and subsequently fixed July 12 for the coronation and presentation of the Staff of Office.
