Trump rushed off stage after gunshots are fired at Pennsylvania rally

Former US president, Donald Trump, had to be rushed off the stage as gunshots were fired during his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday.

Trump was in the middle of a speech when he was interrupted by the shots.

He was immediately surrounded by his security aides and stayed down for around a minute.

Trump then rose to his feet and put his fist in the air, before being taken off stage and into a vehicle.

According to CNN, Trump had blood on his face.
