CityNews Nigeria reports that day one of the protest was mixed across the country with many northern States experiencing violence, looting, vandalism and killings, while states in the South saw largely peaceful protests.
Kano, Yobe and Borno States declared a 24-hour curfew to curb the violence that they experienced on day 1.
After a first day of trooping to the screens to vent their displeasure with the government of President Bola Tinubu, Nigerians are back on the streets again today.
