Pat Attah sues TVC for N500m over defamatory comments
Nollywood actor Pat Attah is engaged in a legal dispute with Lagos-based TV channel TVC over comments made on their entertainment show E-splash
Pat Attah alleges that hosts Honeypot, Jaypaul, and Cassey Bashua Alimi misrepresented his statements from a previous interview, where he discussed his past relationship with Genevieve Nnaji.
The hosts’ criticism of Attah’s response has led to a lawsuit, with Attah seeking N500 million in compensation and a retraction of the statements.
TVC and the hosts have been given a two-week ultimatum to respond to Attah’s demands.
