Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has confirmed that Gabriel Jesus has suffered a groin injury.
Jesus was not part of the Gunners squad for their 2-0 win at Aston Villa on Saturday.
Speaking after the game, Arteta revealed the Brazilian will go for an MRI scan this week, to determine how long he would be out for.
“Unfortunately he (Jesus) felt something in his groin.
“We need to assess him, we need an MRI scan to see.
“We will have the results and see if it is a matter of days or weeks.”
Arsenal’s next league game is on Saturday against Brighton at the Emirates.
