One Month Sit-At-Home: Imo CP Deploys Heavy Security To Targeted Areas
Following the one month sit-at-home declared by the Simon Ekpa’s Biafra Liberation Army of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) from August 28 – September 28, the Imo State Police Commissioner, Aboki Danjuma has deployed a water tight security in all the targeted areas mentioned by the group.
To reassure staff of the State ministries, the CP personally led his men to the secretariat on Wednesday where he assured them of their safety.
During the visit, Danjuma engaged with the civil servants, assuring them of the Command’s readiness and commitment to their protection.
He equally told them that the command has detailed the mobilization of well-equipped operatives and promised the implementation of enhanced security strategies to ensure a safe working environment in the secretariat and other areas in the State.
“This strategic move underscores the Command’s dedication to upholding peace and security throughout the state”. Danjuma stated.
