Transfer Deadline Day: Arsenal offered Raheem Sterling

Arsenal have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Raheem Sterling on loan from Chelsea.

Sterling has been told he will not play if he stays at Chelsea by manager Enzo Maresca.

According to ESPN, Arsenal have now been offered the England international as the Blues look to offload his £325,000-per-week wages.

Arsenal’s Premier League rivals, Manchester United, have also been linked with a potential swap deal involving Jadon Sancho moving to Stamford Bridge and Sterling to Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, Sterling worked with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta during their time together at Manchester City.
