40 Plots In 3 States For Grabs In National Home and Land Raffle Season One

National Lottery Regulations Commission has approved the National Home and Land Raffle Season One with forty plots of land to be won in three states of the federation.

Lagos, Oyo and Ogun are the pilot states for the promotional scheme envisioned to empower individuals and families in Nigeria become home and landowners through easy and multiple access to decent and affordable housing.

Project Lead, of the National Promotional Scheme Dr Olayemi Rotimi-Shodimu stated in a press statement on Sunday that the National Home And Land Raffle aims to address the housing deficit in Nigeria by providing affordable housing opportunities for medium and low-income citizens.

According to Rotimi – Shodimu, “ This is our contribution to the National Housing ecosystem with a mission to reducing the national housing deficit by providing cheap access to home and land ownership for Nigerians”.

“Season one is the pilot edition and 40 plots of land of 300sqm each will be won in Ibadan, Abeokuta and Epe through participation in the promotional scheme by purchasing tickets with just ten thousand Naira at any GTB branch or online”.

Raffle tickets sales commence on Tuesday 16th September while season one draws will take place in Ibadan on November 29 2024. Plots to be won are: 10 each in The Capstone Estate, Shala, Epe, Unicorn Estate, Alabata, Moniya, Ibadan, Ibadan Green City, Peace Court, Kobape, Abeokuta.

The National Home and Land Raffle has been described by the organisers as one of the cheapest ways to becoming a land owner owing to its affordability given the cost of landed property across Nigeria. Land and houses in other states are expected to be added to the scheme after this pilot promotional scheme.
