The Nigerian government is set to arraign more #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protesters, 80 days after the incident.
Activist lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, said the Nigerian government plans to arraign 76 protesters, out of which 66 are minors, on November 1, 2024.
Adeyanju said the protesters would be arraigned before Hon. Justice Egwuatu of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
He disclosed this in a brief statement on Friday.
According to Adeyanju: “After detaining End Bad Governance protesters for almost 80 days, the clueless Tinubu government is set to arraign more protesters, who are largely minors, as can be seen on the charge herein annexed, on November 1st in Abuja.
“The 66 protesters, mainly minors, are to be arraigned on the 1st of November, 2024 before Hon. Justice Egwuatu, Court 10, 4th floor, Federal High Court, Abuja Division.”
Nigerians had filed out from August 1 to 10, 2024, to protest against bad governance in the country.
