Florent Malouda has urged Chelsea to move again for Victor Osimhen when the transfer window reopens in January.
Chelsea came close to signing the Nigeria international in the summer but couldn’t meet up with his demands.
Osimhen instead joined Turkish Super Lig champions, Galatasaray on loan from Napoli.
Malouda however insisted that the Blues should launch another bid for the powerful striker in the winter transfer window.
“We almost signed Victor Osimhen in the summer, and he is the type of player that would add extra quality to this Chelsea team,” Malouda told Coin Poker.
“If there is an opportunity to bring him in in January, then I think the club has to look at it. From what I’ve read, he will cost less than the numbers that were quoted in the summer – the fee is reportedly in the region of £70m.”
