Halle Berry has scored a win in her lengthy custody battle with ex-husband Olivier Martinez. A judge has ruled in her favor regarding a dispute over their co-parenting therapy sessions.
The dispute arose when Berry claimed over the summer that Martinez was trying to take a break from their mandated co-parenting therapy. Berry asked the court to intervene, requesting that Martinez be required to continue attending the sessions.
According to new legal documents obtained by TMZ, the judge sided with Berry, though it was noted that Martinez had already complied with her request after she brought the matter to court.
This marks a small victory for Berry in the ongoing legal saga between the former couple, who were married from 2013 to 2016. Their divorce was finalized in August 2023, after eight years of legal proceedings. The pair shares an 11-year-old son, Maceo.
In addition to the co-parenting ruling, the judge also ordered both Berry and Martinez to avoid discussing child custody matters with Maceo or making negative comments about each other, or their current partners, in front of their son.
