GAC Hails Ikosi-Isheri LCDA Chairman For Equitable Distribution Of Projects
The Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), and the highest Political Organ of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos, memeber and his team, led by Senator Musiliu Olatunde Obanikoro have hailed the Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada for her purposeful leadership and projects executions.
Sen. Obanikoro made the commendation during a visit to the LCDA as part of its grassroots midterm assessment tour to the council area by the GAC delegation in assessing the activities and achievements of the LCDA under the leadership of the Mayoress Bada’s administration.
Other members of the delegation including; Chief Rilwan Aleshinloye, Alhaji Olalekan Akodu and Barr. Sulaimon Adeniyi, they all applauded the physical projects put in places by the Chairperson, urging her not to relent on her oars, as the projects were of the people’s pride to the LCDA as whole.
They said; “The administration of Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada continued to earn recognition today as the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) team, led by Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, visited Ikosi-Isheri LCDA to inspect ongoing and completed projects, in fact, the visit is part of the 2024 Local Government Area and Local Council Development Area (LGA/LCDA) Inspection and Assessment exercise for the Lagos East Senatorial District.
Obanikoro acknowledged the positive feedback from stakeholders and commended the Chairperson for her dedication to the progress of her people, imploring the Chairperson to remain steadfast in her efforts to deliver quality governance.
“Indeed, this is a testament to the good governance to your council members, as the people are appreciating your good deeds, with this, the dividends of democracy were clearly evident based on the feedback received here, today,” Obanikoro said.
During the assessment, Senator Obanikoro engaged a range of local stakeholders, including representatives from the Community Development Committee (CDC), League of Imams, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), artisan groups, market women, and traditional rulers, to gain insight into the administration’s impact on various community sectors, they all lauded the Chairperson for her fairness and purposeful leadership.
One of the artisans, Mr. Kolawole Jones, said that Mayoress Bada’s leadership style had garned their support, attributed the peaceful co-existence and development within the LCDA to her administration’s inclusiveness and transparency.
The stakeholders’ meeting which provided an opportunity for feedback on the performances of the Chairman of the Ikosi-Isheri LCDA from the people, all of whom expressed their satisfaction with Mayoress Bada’s administration, commended her developmental strides and efforts to ensure equitable distribution of projects across all wards in the LCDA.
