Cristiano Ronaldo reacts as Al Nassr crash out of King’s Cup
Al Nassr forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has reacted after his team crashed out of King’s Cup in the Round of 16 on Tuesday.
The Portugal captain missed a late penalty as his team were eliminated by Al-Taawoun from the King’s Cup.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star had the chance to level the scores from the penalty spot in second-half stoppage time.
But the 39-years-old blazed his effort over the bar.
The match ended 1-0 at Al-Awwal Park in favour of Al-Taawoun.
Waleed Al-Ahmed scored the only goal of the game in the 71st minute.
Reacting after the game, Ronaldo took to his X account and wrote: “Every challenge is an opportunity to grow.”
Ronaldo, meanwhile, is yet to win a major trophy since joining the Saudi Arabian club almost two years ago as a free agent after leaving Man United.
