The burial arrangements for the late Chief Of Army Staff, Taoreed Lagbaja has been announced. The late COAS will be buried on Friday at the National Cemetery in Abuja.
This is according to a statement issued by the Acting COAS, Lieutenant General OO Oluyode on Wednesday on behalf of the Nigerian Army.
A service of songs for the late COAS who died on November 5, will be held at the Army headquarters’ garrison parade ground, Mogadishu cantonment, in Abuja on Thursday. This will be followed by a funeral service at the National Christian Centre, Abuja on Friday, after which the late COAS, Lagbaja will be interred.
Lagbaja died at the age of 56. Meanwhile, President Bola Tinubu said the late Lagbaja will be given a state burial.
