I thank God for giving us him” – Allwell Ademola reacts to Ibrahim Chatta’s emotional interview about his failed marriages and struggles
Nollywood actress Allwell Ademola has reacted to her colleague Ibrahim Chatta’s emotional interview about his marriages and struggles.
KFN reported that the talented actor sat down with Biola Bayo where he spoke about his 3 failed marriages and his struggles before fame. He revealed that he once worked as a bus conductor, lived in a room with 9 people, and would trek from Agege to Ikeja.
He also shut down claims of being underrated as he disclosed that he is one of the highest-paid Yoruba-speaking actors. Ibrahim described himself as a lucky person as he spoke about the amount of Grace he has enjoyed from God, which he doesn’t deserve.
Reacting to it, Allwell, on her Instagram page, described it as deep and inspiring. She appreciated God for blessing the world with Ibrahim and appreciated Biola Bayo for bringing him out of his shell.
“Chai I just finished seeing this, hmmmmm. Deep and inspiring, Thank you God for giving us @ibrahimchatta_lordthespis
Well done dear @biolabayo1″.
One Also Nita Akniyalof, concurring with her, wrote, “Honestly, the interview was insightful and motivating. May God’s grace never leave him
One Jades Mariam wrote, “This episode is archived for future replay because it entails a lot of knowledge. Bless both of them
One Seyi Osoko wrote, “I just finished watching I was glued to the TV. Ibrahim Chatta is full of wisdom. Thank you Dr Biola for bringing one of my favorite actors
One Olori Fola Ademola wrote, “Best interview so far. Respect sis @biolabayo”.
Ibrahim has no doubt come a long way in his career. Just a few days back, his colleague, Odunlade Adekola had honored him with a recognition award for his contribution to the Yoruba movie industry.
Last month, Ibrahim was left humbled following a visit by the Oyo State National Police Force (NPF) to his Film village. He shared a video of their visit, as he expressed how humbled he was to receive them. He revealed that they discussed the security of their community, curbing piracy, and sensitive movie props around Oyo State with ease.
Last year, Nigerians had angrily reacted to the snub of Ibrahim Chatta by AMVCA, as he wasn’t nominated despite his role in Femi Adebayo’s film King of Thieves, which contributed greatly to the success of the movie. Speaking out for himself, Chatta stated that he wasn’t bothered by the lack of acknowledgment as he knows there are lots of actors who are better than him. However, his major concern was why he didn’t get invited to the ceremony, but his junior colleagues scored the invites.
