VDM recently disclosed on Instagram that hackers had compromised the NGO’s website, resulting in unauthorized withdrawals. He announced that a suspect had been arrested in Jos, Plateau State, and investigations were underway to recover the stolen funds.
To avoid further breaches, VDM deactivated the NGO’s app and reassured supporters of regular updates.
The NGO, launched in October 2024, focuses on tackling Nigeria’s educational challenges, particularly in underserved rural areas. It has received significant public support, including a remarkable N100 million donation from music producer Don Jazzy, bringing total contributions to over N200 million.
Blord, known for previous online disputes with VDM, took to X (formerly Twitter) to criticize the activist. He accused VDM of theft, claiming he inherited the behavior from his mother.
Blord tweeted:
“Fear the loyalty of a poor man! A thief will always remain a thief. @Coolverydarkman na better thief, he learnt from his mother.”
