It isn’t surprising to see Lisabi 2 topping the list on Netflix, as two weeks back, Lateef had expressed excitement at how the new movie had ranked on the list of 2024’s most searched Nigerian films.

Similarly, his wife, Mo Bimpe had expressed excitement as Lisabi ranked top ten most searched movies in 2024. Bimpe noted how data don’t lie and expressed how glad she was that when people talk about filmmaking in 2024, they are among them.

In other news, last year, Lateef had reflected on the past as he celebrated his growth. Lateef stated that if anyone had told him then that he would be what he is today, he would likely throw stones at them.
