In a statement posted on its official X account on Wednesday, JAMB also informed prospective candidates to begin preparations by securing their National Identification Number and a unique phone number.
“You can get your NIN ahead and a phone number that has not been previously used to register on our platform to generate your profile code prior to the time,” the post read.
In a significant update, JAMB also unveiled The Lekki Headmaster by Kabir Alabi Garba as the recommended reading text for the 2025 UTME Use of English paper.
The news flash read, “Attention prospective 2025 UTME candidates! This is to inform you that The Lekki Headmaster by Kabir Alabi Garba has been approved as the reading text for the Use of English.
“Details on the UTME/DE registration shall be released shortly. Kindly be on the lookout for updates.”
Candidates are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the text to enhance their preparation.
Additionally, JAMB has directed its staff to update their profiles or register afresh in preparation for the upcoming examination.
In its latest bulletin, dated January 13 and released Tuesday, the board emphasised the importance of ensuring compliance to avoid breaches of protocol during the examination process.
