Popular Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has left many stunned with her confession and revelation about clergyman, Pastor Chris Okafor.
While attending a church event, she revealed that she was the epitome of stubbornness as a child. Doris disclosed that she once slept with 2 dead bodies and jumped from the roof to the bush, yet is still alive.
“I am the definition of stubborn. I have jumped from the roof to the bush, and God kept me alive. I have slept with two dead bodies inside the room, and I could be killed the next day. But God said, “It’s not my time.” I still have work to God.
I am standing here today as a testimony. I don’t know why God brought me here or why I am talking, but I am talking”.
The actress, who came to the service with her mother, said she once lived for her mother and now lives for God.
While shedding tears, Doris spoke of her love for her mother, noting how she never condemned her when the world did. She called her mother her hero and expressed how much she loves her.
“If God hasn’t condemned you, nobody can; if He hasn’t written you off, nobody can. Today I stand, and I say glory be to God. Today I am not telling my story, but I know God will write your story. I love my mother; I live for my mother. I lost everything. My mother means a lot to me. Many condemned me, but my mother will never condemn me. God has given her to me; she is my hero, and I love her so much. I am standing here today, proud to be her daughter”.
Doris said she believes God has plans for her, hence why he kept her alive.
“I know God is going to do many things because I know He kept me alive for a reason. I could have been dead years ago.
You might have condemned me, but God didn’t, and I am standing here for a reason”.
The actress also brought in a lady who Pastor Chris Okafor allegedly used to do fake testimony as they exposed the clergyman.
Last year, Ogala went into a tirade when the news of his wedding circulated online. Ogala, had publicly accused the pastor of breaking promises to marry her after a long-term relationship that dated back to 2017. She alleged that Okafor shared explicit videos of her without consent, including footage related to a miscarriage she suffered. She claimed that her mental state had been fragile since the relationship ended, and alleged financial exploitation.
Not done, Ogala had made a wild claim against him, alleging that he gave her $10000 to retract her statements. She demanded the clergyman compensate her with $50,00, put her on the monthly payroll, and give her lifetime shares in his company as compensation for not marrying her and for sharing her núde videos with friends and lawyers.
During one of his church services, Pastor Chris admitted that he had made mistakes and apologised to the actress for them. The clergyman surprised his members as he knelt to apologise to the church.
Reacting to it, Doris said she had forgiven him, but there is a problem with his denial of their affair.
Last week, he withdrew his apology, while speaking during one of his church services. He said his apology was misconstrued and was made to prevent respected church leaders from being dragged into the controversy. Okafor insisted that he never admitted to any wrongdoing and therefore withdrew his apology.
Reacting to it, Doris, questioned whether he was done with his damage control so she could reopen things. Doris said she wouldn’t drag Tonto again; however, she should leave her and Chris alone.
