453 new cases of Coronavirus recorded in Nigeria
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced that 453 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded in the country on Wednesday August 12.
A breakdown of the new cases across states is as follows; Lagos-113, FCT-72, Plateau-59, Enugu-55, Kaduna-38, Ondo-32, Osun-26, Ebonyi-20, Ogun-9, Delta-8, Borno-7, Akwa Ibom-6, Oyo-5, Bauchi-1, Kano-1, Ekiti-1.
There are now 47,743 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the country and 956 deaths has been recorded. 33,943 patients who recovered from the disease have also been discharged.
