Kaduna: Bandits kill three as families of victims fail to raise N20m ransom
Bandits in Kaduna state have killed three of their victims after their family members failed to raise the N20 million demanded as ransom for their release.
House of Representatives member, Yakubu Umar Barde, who disclosed this during an interview with Arise TV this morning July 19, said the bandits killed the victims over the weekend, and then called their family members to go and pick up their bodies from where it was dumped.
In his words
”Unfortunately, it is not everywhere I can visit in Kajuru local government today because there are areas that the bandits have taken over and unfortunately, let me use this medium to also commisserate with those that have lost their loved ones.
Yesterday, as a I speak to you, some of the people that were kidnapped in Sabon Tasha, three of them were killed and their corpse were dumped in the forest and the relations were asked to come and pick them because they couldn’t raise the 20 million they were asking of.
It is a sad thing”
