The House of Assembly Candidate for Abeokuta South Constituency II in the 2019 general election is under the platform of ANN Olanrewaju Solomon Enilolobo has urged protesters not to take law into their hands.

Enilolobo also urged the Nigerian Police and Nigerian Army not to shoot at protesters.

Enilolobo posted on his social media account:

“No matter what the provocation is, no matter the defiance to curfew order, I enjoin the Nigerian Army and the Nigerian Police not to shoot or kill any protester or hoodlum”.

“I’m sure the Army/Police have adequate training on de-escalation. Any loss of life will turn Abeokuta to Lagos. What we’re witnessing in Lagos is nothing but carnage. We don’t want that in Abeokuta”.

“We don’t want bloodshed, we don’t want needless loss of life. We appeal to protesters and hoodlums on the street to sheath their sword and go home”.
