Ambode’s Visionary Leadership Opens Up Agege As Sanwo-Olu Commissions Pen Cinema Bridge

The visonary leadership of Lagos State immediate past Governor,Akinwumi Ambode has finally opened up Agege to ‘the world’.

As Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu commissions the 1.4km Pen Cinema Bridge, Agege today Friday, 5 March 2021, Lagosians, especially residents of Agege,Iju-Ishaga,Fagba and environs would definitely not forget Ambode in a hurry as they are now a part and parcel of Lagos Megalopolis.

The Agege Pen Cinema Flyover project which started in 2017 under the last administration of former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode was completed by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The Pen Cinema Bridge is a 1.4km long bridge across Iju-Fagba road and Lagos-Ota road. The network of Agege Pen Cinema Road comprises of a main road and alternative routes.

The construction of the Agege Pen Cinema Bridge will ease traffic on the route, thereby reducing travel time on the road.

It will also help in bringing development and improve trade between the Agege community and other surrounding communities.
