The federal government on Thursday asked Nigerians to comply with COVID-19 health guidelines as the holiday season beckons. The call was part of the National Economic Council resolution after a meeting chaired by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo. Nigeria, in recent weeks, has witnessed a surge in new infections of the deadly coronavirus. On Wednesday, the country recorded its highest daily number of infections. China will invite more scientists around the world to join in moon research in a bid to achieve more scientific results, China National Space Administration (CNSA) has said. The Vice Administrator of the CNSA, Wu Yanhua, said on Thursday at a news conference in Bejing that China would solicit cooperation proposals extensively in accordance with regulations on the management of lunar samples and data. House of Representatives has passed a resolution mandating the Minister Of State For Labour Festus Keyamo (SAN), to stay action on the planned January 2021 implementation of the Special Public Works Programme of the Federal Government. The reps passed the resolution on Tuesday, saying the programme will not be implemented until a comprehensive list of beneficiaries from the Nigerian directorate of employment is made available.
