Breaking: Donald Trump To Launch Own Social Media Platform
CityNews Nigeria reports that former President Donald Trump has been exiled from basically every social media platform, prompting speculation that he could start his own site.
On Sunday, it was announced that Trump indeed has a social media site in the works.
Jason Miller, a Trump advisor and spokesman, explained to Fox News’ Mediabuzz that the 74-year-old has plans to launch this platform in a few months. Miller said it will bring in “tens of millions” users and would be different from other sites.
Not much information has been disclosed. Miller teased that a few companies had already reached out to partner with Trump, though Miller didn’t cite any names.
Trump has been suspended from social media for months. Some Twitter users shared their opinions about Trump’s resurfacing on a new platform.
Trump was first permanently banned from Twitter and then Facebook and other sites, for allegedly inciting the Jan. 6 attacks. He often made inflammatory comments on social media and Democrats have described some of his tweets as “witness intimidation.”
