BREAKING: Rivers State Boils As Gunmen Kill Policemen, Soldiers, Customs Officers

Dare-devil gunmen have attacked military and police checkpoints along the Owerri-Port Harcourt Road in Ikwerre Local Government Area, Rivers State.

CityNews Nigeria learnt that the gunmen, who launched the attacks around 8 pm on Saturday, killed four policemen and two soldiers.

And in a separate development, CityNews Nigeria reports that three officials of Nigerian Customs have been reportedly killed by unknown gunmen in Isiokpo community in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.

CN gathered that the unknown gunmen before killing their victims at Isiokpo had invaded a military checkpoint within Omuaga axis of Elele-Owerre, close to the Port Harcourt International Airport.

The armed men destroyed the checkpoint and other property in the area.
