BREAKING: Tension In Rivers State As Gunmen Kill 50,Raze Houses

There’s palpable tension in Rivers at the moment as gunmen have descended on the state.

CityNews Nigeria learnt that fifty people were killed and many house razed overnight in Andoni Local government Area of Rivers State came under heavy attack when the leader of Icelando Cult Group led by one George Adumu and his Lieutenant Bathlomeo who were allegedly harboured at Okochiri Kingdom after returning from prison in December 2016.

The cult leader was reported to had left Okochiri with ten (10) 200 horsepower speedboats to Andoni where they unleash unprecedented carnage and violence ever recoded in the history of Andoni, killing scores of residents.

The suspected cult leader invaded more than six (6) Communities such as Ajakajak, Ibot-Irem, Isamanga, Deima, Acradi, Oronijah and Igbomun within and around the Isi-Okwan District of Andoni Local Government Area.
