Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church has ignored the Twitter ban, taking to the microblogging platform to admonish Nigerians on the current situation in the country.

CityNews Nigeria earlier reported that the Buhari-led government directed telecom operators in Nigeria to deactivate Twitter by midnight on Friday.

This comes after the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, on Friday, in a statement released by his media aide, Segun Adeyemi, announced the suspension of Twitter’s operations in Nigeria indefinitely. Mohammed also directed the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) to immediately commence licensing all OTT and social media operations in the country.

Despite the ban, the bishop, in a tweet a few hours ago, told Nigerians, that their knowledge is inadequate, as they need to license their perceived knowledge to be able to walk in total freedom.

He wrote “Whatever is not working in your life is not God’s fault; rather, it is your knowledge that is inadequate. You need your own license of knowledge to walk in total freedom on this earth,” Oyedepo tweeted.
