BUA Group Speaks On ‘Abdulsamad Rabiu’S 2023 Presidential Bid’
BUA group has called on the general public to Ignore malicious campaign posters alleging that its chairman, Abdulsamad Rabiu seeks to run for Public Office in 2023,CityNews Nigeria reports.
In a statement made available to newsmen on Friday, signed by its Corporate Communications Chief, Otega Ogra, Mr. Abdulsamad has no intentions to run for office.
“Our attention has been brought to actions of certain unscrupulous elements printing posters linking the name and person of the Chairman of BUA Group, Alhaji Abdul Samad Rabiu to a run for political office.”
“We wish to inform the general public, on behalf of the Person of the Chairman that, Alh. Abdul Samad Rabiu is neither interested nor is he willing to run for political office. At no time has he indicated interest in running for an elective position neither is he looking to run for one in the near future.”
“We find these posters to be malicious – whatever the intent, and hereby unequivocally dissociate the name and person of the Chairman of BUA Group, Alh. Abdul Samad Rabiu from these actions – in any form or manner.
In the event that these fraudulent misrepresentations continue, we will be left with no other option than to seek legal redress and report same to the law enforcement agencies.”
