Chelsea’s victorious players have returned to Cobham with the Champions League trophy after winning their second European title on Saturday.
The Blues overcame Manchester City 1-0 at the Estadio do Dragao in Porto on Saturday night thanks to Kai Havertz’ calmly taken first-half goal.
Celebrations went on long into the night, with manager Thomas Tuchel partying with players until the early hours and champagne flowing to celebrate the club conquering Europe once again.
And captain Cesar Azpilicueta was keeping a close eye on the famous trophy upon their return to the club’s training facilities in Cobham, Surrey.
The Spanish defender disembarked the team bus proudly cradling the weighty silver cup, and paraded throughout the grounds with it on his head, still wearing his medal from the final, before the entire squad gathered around the trophy for a photo.
