Coronavirus: FCT confirms 13 new cases
The Federal Capital Territory has confirmed that 13 new cases of coronavirus disease have been recorded in Abuja.
The FCTA made the confirmation in a tweet via its Twitter account on Wednesday.
According to the Administration, two COVID-19 patients have also been discharged after showing full recovery.
The tweet read: “13 NEW CASES, 2 DISCHARGED IN THE FCT
“Summary of #COVID19FCT as at June 2, 2020, Total number of confirmed cases: 687
“Total number of active cases: 465, Total discharged: 202, Deaths recorded: 20.”
The administration advised residents to continue to stay safe and take preventive measures seriously.
As of Wednesday morning, Nigeria has recorded 10,819 cases of the deadly virus, while 3239 patients have been discharged.
