Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 160 New COVID-19 Cases In Nigeria
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Saturday evening, 12th September 2020, confirmed 160 new cases of coronavirus disease infection in Nigeria.
CityNews Nigeria understands that the new cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed via a statement on the official Twitter handle of the health agency.
Given the 160 new COVID-19 cases, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria has risen to 56,177 which includes 44,088 discharged cases and 1,078 deaths.
Below is the breakdown of the latest cases according to states with FCT recording the highest number of new confirmed cases, followed by Plateau and Lagos State, northern Nigeria.
