Covid-19: GTB gives 90 days moratorium on SMEs loans
A Nigerian bank, Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) has announced the management decision to grant Small, Medium Enterprises (SMEs) a 90 days moratorium on loans.
The decision is in connection with the outbreak of global pandemic, Covid-19 which has forced many businesses to close shop.
Recognizing the impact of the outbreak on businesses, especially on SMEs, the bank has decided to grant three months grace period, to enable businesses bounce back after the lockdown period.
Businesses which qualify for this moratorium include: Food Industry, Fashion Industry and QuickCredit for Business.

GTB share the news via its social media handle and was captioned thus, “As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, and because small businesses have had to stay closed to stay safe, we’re giving a 90-day moratorium on repayment of the following loans.
