Covid-19: Nigeria Hits 30,000 Mark

The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Nigeria is now 30,249. This follows 460 new infections recorded in 21 states.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC says states that recorded the new 460 cases include Lagos-150; Rivers-49; Oyo-43; Delta-38; FCT-26; Anambra and Kano-20; Plateau-18; Edo-14: Bayelsa and Enugu-13 each.

Others are Osun-12; Kwara-10; Borno-8; Ogun-7; Kaduna-6; Imo-4; Bauchi and Gombe-3 each; Niger-2 and Adamawa-1.

There are 265 Covid-19 patients discharged across Nigeria in the last 24 hours bringing the otal number of successfully treated cases to 12,373.

Meanwhile, 15 new Covid-19 fatalities have been recorded in the country with the national death toll now 684.
